There were minimal problems like roaming around the classroom, being inattentive, eating candy while class is ongoing, not doing his homework.
We had a problem with CLE and was told that he might fail the subject. The teacher said that Dale did not pass his journal (reflection on Sunday Gospels) and book assignments.
It has been my "policy" to not help my kids with homework/project if I think that they can do it on their own, or if they do not ask for help.
What I do every night was to ask "Have u done your homework?" And when they say yes, I trust that they really mean that.
So, I was a little disappointed and mad at Dale for not telling the truth. I asked the teacher for another chance and we submitted everything the next day.
I am happy that the teacher gave consideration and gave him an 84.
So, anyway, we're now on our 2nd quarter. I'm always praying for the best! I know that my son can, so he did!
Don't lose hope! Your children can also do good with God's grace and mercy.
